Protection & Impact

Kwatale is more than a camp. Through our non-profit organisation, the "Kwatale Association," your stay becomes real impact:

• Protection instead of hunting. · We've protected this land from trophy hunting and work actively against poaching.
  
  
• Local training. We train people from the region – as guides and within the camp.
  
  
• Keeping families together. Our female staff should be able to work without being separated from their children. A mother-friendly workplace – not as marketing, but as a principle.
  
  
• Creating knowledge. In future, we'll open the land to research and universities.

You don't need to do anything extra for this. You just need to come. Your night here does the rest.

Like many concessions in northern Botswana, NG43 was used for hunting in the past.

We took over the management of NG43 to chart a different course. For the duration of our concession, this land is dedicated to photographic tourism and conservation. Instead of bringing in trophy hunters, we bring people here who want to experience the wilderness and help sustain it – giving the land time and quiet to flourish.

What that means in practice:
