What Kwatale Means
The old buffalo bull.
Kwatale (Setswana) is the name of the old buffalo bull – the one who has seen it all. He no longer travels with the great herd. He stands on his own: calm, alert, deeply rooted in his land. That is exactly how we see this place – not loud, not in a hurry, but steady and at home.
Two zebras.
Our logo features two zebras. Zebras, because we lie on their migration route – year after year, they pass through our land. Two, because zebras never travel alone – they belong together. Just like us: a family that welcomes other families.
It takes a whole village, as they say in Africa. Kwatale is a family project, supported by a team from two worlds and an entire local community.
